With over 7 million albums sold to date, Luca Carboni is an award-winning singer-songwriter from Bologna, Italy, who embarked on his 24th tour in early October 2018. Carboni’s FOH sound engineer, Massimiliano Salin, chose an mc²36-24 console and a DALLIS I/O unit connected via a redundant RAVENNA link. This case study shows how Salin took advantage of the mc²36’s features to achieve a powerful and highly detailed sound during the 14 gigs of the Sputnik Tour’s first leg before Christmas 2018.
